Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients meeting the working case definition criteria 2.Females with haemoglobin level between 8.0-11.9 g/dl (mild and moderately anaemic females) 3.Females in the age group 18-35 years. 4.Cases with no pelvic pathology in USG abdomen and pelvis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Cases with pelvic pathology in USG abdomen and pelvis. 2.Cases with uncontrolled hypertension, diabetes mellitus, thyroid dysfunction and bleeding disorders. 3.Patients with heavy, prolonged and frequent menstrual bleeding. 4.Patients taking allopathic medications like NSAIDs and OCPs. 5.Patients with haemoglobin level less than 8.0g/dl and more than 11.9g/dl and those having unstable vital signs. 6.Patients with cognitive impairment.

Primary outcome measures will be based on assessment criteria. Assessment criteria- 1.WaLIDD (working ability, location, intensity, days of pain, dysmenorrhea)score 2.Quality Of Life Enjoyment and Satisfaction Questionnaire(Q-LES-Q-SF) scoreTimepoint: 1.WaLIDD score measured at the baseline and after 4 months of treatment. 2.Q-LES-Q-SF score measured at the baseline and after 4 months of treatment.
