Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with an intracranial space-occupying lesion on a CT scan or MRI of the brain. Patients planned for endoscopic surgical management (excision, biopsy, or cyst fenestration). Age 18 years and above. Both male and female patients. Patients who are fit for surgery under general anesthesia. Patients willing to provide written informed consent. Patients are willing to undergo postoperative follow-up as per the study protocol.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients are not suitable for the endoscopic approach (deep, inaccessible lesions requiring open craniotomy). Patients managed conservatively (non-surgical cases). Patients undergoing conventional microscopic craniotomy only. Patients with severe medical comorbidities are unfit for general anesthesia.

MeasureTime frame
Postoperative neurological and functional outcome assessed by improvement in clinical status and functional scoring (Modified Rankin Scale/Karnofsky Performance Score) at discharge and follow-up.Timepoint: Outcomes will be assessed at baseline (preoperative), immediate postoperative period (within 48 hours), at discharge, 1 month, and 3 months follow-up.
