Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Test environment simulating ICU settings (patient-free controlled environment) 2. High-touch surfaces routinely monitored for microbial load (e.g., bed rails, bedside tables/trolleys, wall-mounted shelves) 3. Ambient air within the defined ICU bed zone (~3 feet radius) 4. Surfaces and air samples accessible for standardized microbiological sampling 5. Areas where routine infection control surveillance is feasible

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Isolation rooms with specialized air filtration systems (e.g., HEPA-filtered environments) 2. Units undergoing concurrent chemical fumigation or disinfection interventions during the study period 3. Areas not accessible for standardized sampling procedures 4. Environments not conforming to defined test conditions
