Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult street vendors above 18 years working more than 6 hoursper day at selected sites for more than 6 months. Permanentand regular street vendors present at sampling sites consenting to participate.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Vendors with prior diagnosed congenital hearing loss, active major head/neck malignancy, or recent ENT surgery. Current acute upper-respiratory infection (to avoid misclassification) Unwilling/unable to provide consent.

MeasureTime frame
Prevalence Estimates: Proportion of street vendors with clinically confirmed ENT disorders, including hearing loss, tinnitus, allergic rhinitis, chronic pharyngitis, and laryngitis. Exposure Outcome Relationships: Strength of association between noise levels, and specific ENT morbidities. Timepoint: one time assessment at screening

Risk Factor Identification: Key demographic & occupational determinants (age, duration of exposure addictions protective practice contributing to increased ENT risk. Ayurvedic Interpretation: Correlation of observed disorders with Ayurvedic principles of Shabda-Dhuma Atiyoga & Urdhvajatru Vikara. Timepoint: one-time screening assessment
