Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Requiring tooth extraction under local anaesthesia Self-reported fear of needles related to local anaesthesia Score indicating trypanophobia on the Multidimensional Fear-of-Injection Scale - MFIS Able and willing to provide informed consent - for those aged 14 18 consent from parent or guardian will also be obtained

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with generalized anxiety disorders or other diagnosed psychiatric conditions Currently receiving pharmacological anxiety management Hearing or visual impairments that interfere with interventions Medically compromised patients where LA is contraindicated Undergone recent therapy for needle phobia Non-cooperative or unable to comprehend the nature of the interventions
