Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient with chronic Periodontitis Systemically healthy subjects, both male and female Age group 25 to 50 years Gingival margin coronal to or at the level of the entrance of the furcation Subjects with radiographic evidence of furcation defects in opposite teeth Grade II Furcation defects with a minimum of 3mm horizontal probing depth

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects with complicated medical history. With known systemic disease. On medication such as immunosuppressant or corticosteroids. Under resorptive medications. Patient with adverse oral habit. Pregnant women and lactating mother. Subjects with history of use of antibiotics or anti-inflammatory drugs in the last 6 months. Subjects who had undergone periodontal surgery at that site in last 6 months.
