Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individuals aged from 18 to 50 years Individuals suffering from mild to moderate gingival inflammation according to Gingival index by Loe and Silness 1963 Patients diagnosed with generalized chronic gingivitis Minimum 20 natural teeth present No previous treatment affecting gingival health Willingness and ability to complete the clinical trial

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Use of any mouthwash antibiotics or steroids in the previous 6 months Individuals with smoking or other tobacco related habits Pregnant or lactating females Medication induced gingival enlargement Patients with uncontrolled systemic diseases affecting gingival health Known allergy to chlorhexidine propolis or octenidine Non surgical periodontal therapy within the previous 1 month
