Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age more than or euqal to 18 years. Primary surgery for head and neck oral cavity malignancy requiring general anaesthesia and overnight postoperative monitoring. Major resections oral cavity resections with or without free/pedicled flap reconstruction with tracheostomy. Patients undergoing tracheostomy either intra operatively or in the postoperative period
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Pre-existing tracheostoma. Minor resections not expected to compromise airway. Cases with insufficient data

| Concordance between intraoperative airway management and predicted tracheostomy need by each scoring system. Overuse: tracheostomy done despite no prediction. Underuse: predicted but not performed with postoperative airway events. Outcomes: tracheostomy complications, unplanned airway interventions, reintubation or emergency tracheostomy, duration, decannulation rate, and time to decannulation.Timepoint: In the immediate postoperative period or after period of overnight intubation, or intraoperative elective tracheostomy. | — |
