Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who have undergone abdominal surgeries within past 7 days. 2. Patients who have a drop of Oxygen saturation below 93% in RA for 2hours 3. Patients who have Oxygen requirement for at least 24 hours

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients on mechanical ventilation or intubated 2. Patients with impaired cognition or unable to follow commands 3. Patients with unstable vital parameters or hemodynamic instability 4. Patients with recent cardiac events 5. Patients with significant pre-existing pulmonary disease 6. Patients with active COVID-19 infection 7. Patients with impaired diaphragmatic function 8. Patients with severe thrombocytopenia (platelet count less than 30000 per microlitre) 9. Patients with anemia (hemoglobin less than 8 g per dL) 10. Patients with lung or rib metastasis 11. Patients with pleural effusion 12. Patients with pulmonary embolism 13. Patients with hemothorax, pneumothorax or empyema
