Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnosis of chronic ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke greater than 6 month Ambulatory (with or without walking aids) and able to walk greater than 10 meters independently.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Contraindication to fESWT Presence of cardiac pacemaker Local malignancy or infection at the treatment site. Botulinum toxin injections in the lower limb muscles within the past 6 months.

Ankle Spasticity Outcome Variable: Change in muscle spasticity of the affected ankle Measurement Tool: Modified Ashworth Scale (MAS) Description: Spasticity will be assessed using the Modified Ashworth Scale, a 6-point ordinal scale ranging from 0 to 4Timepoint: Base line (T0) post 6 session,2 weeks(T1)

Improve gait velocity(10 Meter walk test) Gait Velocity Outcome Variable: Change in walking speed Measurement Tool: 10-Meter Walk Test (10MWT) Description: The participant will be instructed to walk a total distance of 10 meters at a comfortable pace. Time will be recorded for the middle 6 meters to eliminate acceleration & deceleration phases. Unit of Measurement: Time (seconds) Velocity (meters/second), calculated as distance/time Method of Assessment: Stopwatch measurement under standardized conditions Time Points: Baseline & post-intervention Analysis Plan: Mean gait velocity will be compared within & between groupsTimepoint: Base line (T0) post 6 session,2 weeks(T1)
