Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: a Hypertensive patients with T2DM on current treatment of either sex greater than or equal to 60 years of age. b Patients who have been prescribed at least one antihypertensive drug. c New or follow up patients of OPD visit who will provide written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a Hypertensive emergency urgency requiring immediate admission. b Critically ill patients. c Type 1 diabetes.

1 Average number of drugs per encounter. 2 Percentage of prescriptions with antihypertensive prescribed by generic names. 3 Percentage of drugs prescribed from National List of Essential Medicines of India. NLEM 2022 4 Percentage of encounters with an injection prescribed. 5 Proportions of drugs as prescribed antihypertensive classes of medicines.Timepoint: 6 MONTHS
