Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Only university overhead athletes involved in Badminton, Basketball, Cricket and Volleyball. Working Proficiency of English Language. Competitive Involvement: Must have represented their university at inter-collegiate, regional, or national-level competitions within the past 12 months. Training Frequency: Engaged in structured sport-specific training for at least 3 sessions per week, with each session lasting a minimum of 60 minutes, for the past 6 consecutive months. Training Status: Actively training at the time of study enrolment (not in off-season or injured recovery phase).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Involvement in non-overhead sports only, or recreational activity below the competitive level. Non-university athletes. Current or recent (within 6 months) musculoskeletal injury or pain affecting the shoulder, neck, or upper limb. History of shoulder surgery or dislocation. Neurological disorders that may affect motor control or muscle activation. Use of muscle relaxants, anti-inflammatory medication, or stimulants within 24 hours of testing. Inability to comply with the fatigue protocol or EMG testing procedure.
