Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The individuals having at least 20 teeth will be included in the study. Stage II and Stage III ( {EFP Classification of Periodontitis 2017} Chronic periodontitis patients with and without Diabetes Mellitus. Systemically and periodontally healthy individuals`

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals with any type of systemic diseases other than Diabetes Mellitus. Pregnant or lactating patients. Patients who have been taking alcohol or smoking tobacco. Patients on analgesics and antibiotics for last 1month.
