Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: First ever unilateral ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke patients with duration between 3 to 12 months Patients able to follow instructions MoCA greater than equal to 26 medically stable and able to walk with or without assistance

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Recurrent stroke severe cognitive impairment MoCA less than 26 contraindications to FES such as pacemaker or open wounds severe musculoskeletal or cardiac conditions and unstable medical status
