Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with Alcohol use disorders visiting the out-patient department of Psychiatry with or without comorbidities. Patients aged between 18 to 60 years of age and of either sex.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant and Lactating women Patients not giving consent for the study Patients with other substance abuse along with alcohol will not be included except nicotine and caffeine.

MeasureTime frame
To assess the prescribing pattern of drugs in alcohol use disorder (AUD) and comparison of the prescriptions with IPS (indian psychiatry society) guidelines for treatment.Timepoint: 1 year

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To study the demographic and clinical profile of patients with AUD .Timepoint: 6 months .
