Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Permanent mandibular first molars with deep pit and fissures. 2.Non- cavitated deep pit and fissures in molars. 3.Permanent first mandibular molars with caries- free proximal surfaces. Teeth with stained/ unstained pit and fissure with no softness at the base or showing minimum decalcification. Permanent mandibular first molar of either side should be free from any morphological defect.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Self cleansable pit and fissures of permanent mandibular first molars. 2.Clinically detectable caries in molars. 3.Partially erupted mandibular permanent first molars. 4.Previously placed sealants or restoration on molar teeth. Molars that cannot be isolated adequately. Subjects with developmental anomalies. Medically Compromised patients. Uncooperative patients.
