Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Patient diagnosed with premenstrual syndrome 2 Patients with 20 to 40 years in reproductive age group will be considered

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Patients with complications such as premenstrual dysphoric disorder 2 Patients having irregular menstrual cycle, pregnant and lactating female 3 Patients who are previously diagnosed with anxiety and depression 4 Patients having any other conditions requiring emergency or surgical intervention systemic chronic conditions malignancy

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Reduction in PMS symptom severity assessed by PMMS Score following homoeopathic treatment based on temperament. PMS symptoms will be assessed using Premenstrual syndrome scale consisting of 40 questions which includes- physiological symptoms, psychological symptoms and behavioural symptoms. Each item is scored on 5 points scale (1-5). 1- Never, 2- Rarely, 3- Sometimes. 4- Very often, 5- AlwaysTimepoint: Duration of study is 18 months. Duration of each case is each case will be studied for 6 months or till remission occur, whichever is earlier. Duration of follow up is each case will be followed up on every month or as required. PMSS score will be recorded at baseline (before treatment) and during follow ups.
