Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients undergoing lower limb surgery under spinal anaesthesia 2.Patients willing to give written informed consent. 3.Either sex. 4.Age 20-50 years. 5.Patients with ASA grade I and II.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patient allergic to drugs used for spinal anaesthesia. 2.Patients with bleeding or coagulation disorders. 3.Patients with spine deformities or local skin 4.infection overlying the lumbar vertebral region. 5.Psychiatric patients. 6.Uncooperative patients. 7.Pregnant patients.
