Intervention1: Oral minoxidil: Tablet Minoxidil 2.5mg is given orally once daily for 6 months
Control Intervention1: LLLT: Low level light therapy is given twice weekly in the first 2 months followed

Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Male subjects above 18 years of age with AGA of grade 2 to 5 according to modified Norwood - Hamilton scale.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Male subjects below the age of 18 years. Subjects allergic to minoxidil.Subjects on antihypertensives or have any history of cardiovascular diseases/liver diseases/renal diseases.
