Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Children diagnosed with Down syndrome (confirmed medically). Ability to understand and follow simple instructions (with or without support). Able to walk independently or with minimal assistance. Informed consent obtained from parents or guardians.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Children with coexisting neurological disorders (e.g., cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder) other than Down syndrome. History of musculoskeletal surgery, fractures, or acute lower limb injuries in the past 6 months. Children who use assistive devices or orthotics that significantly alter gait or foot posture during testing. Presence of severe behavioural or cognitive impairments preventing cooperation with assessment procedures. Children with visual or vestibular impairments that may independently affect balance performance. Previous surgical intervention on the lower limbs. Presence of neurological disorders affecting balance (e.g., stroke, multiple sclerosis
