Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients had chronic osteoarthritis of the knee as diagnosed by ACR diagnostic guidelines. Patients had Sandhi shotha (Swelling), Prasaran Akunchan Kashtata (Difficulty in Moving of Joint), Savedana (Pain).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with Acute Infective arthritis, Patients with osteoarthritis not affecting the knees, Patients with known allergy to any of the constituents of the study drug, Patients who were pregnant or lactating
