Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Adult Tb and Pead TB: Age more than 18 years and Age less than 18 years 2 Symptoms suggestive of TB (e.g., cough 2 weeks, weight loss, fever, night sweats) OR Known TB contact in the past 12 months with or without symptomsOR 3 Person living with HIV (PLHIV) under TB evaluation with or without symptoms Chest radiograph available 1 Adult pneumonia and Pead pneumonia: Age more than 18 years and Age less than 18 years 2 Acute respiratory symptoms and signs (e.g., cough, fever, dyspnoea, tachypnoea or respiratory distress) suggestive of pneumonia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Unable or unwilling to provide informed consent 2 Medically unstable and unable to undergo imaging 3 Physical barriers to ultrasound (e.g., large wounds) 4 Patients who have been on Anti-TB treatment (ATT) during the past 6 months 5 Patients on ATT for more than 1 week 6 Mechanical ventilatory support or high-flow oxygen therapy (logistical challenge may be site dependent)
