Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing fixed orthodontic treatment Patients with healthy periodontal status Absence of systemic conditions affecting pain perception Patients not taking antibiotics or analgesics at the time of the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Recent tooth extraction within the past two weeks Incomplete engagement of archwire in brackets Patients using functional or extraoral appliances Presence of bite ramps following bonding Patients on long-term medication for chronic systemic conditions Patients with mental or cognitive impairments
