Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To examine the relationship between post treatment variations in clinical periodontal parameters and the Aggregate Index Of Systemic Inflammation(AISI)Timepoint: at baseline and after 6 weeks

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To record the baseline clinical periodontal findings and glycemic parameters in individual with type II diabetes mellitus presenting with periodontitis. to assess baseline hematological values required for calculating the aggregate index of systemic inflammation(AISI). to carry out non-surgical periodontal treatment in type II diabetic patients diagnosed with periodontitis. to reassess periodontal clinical findings and to corelate with the aggregate index of systemic inflammation(AISI) after 6 to 8 weeks after non surgical periodontal therapy before flap surgery as a routine blood investigation. Timepoint: at baseline and after 6 weeks
