Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age between 18 and 65 years 2.Newly diagnosed Bacteriological confirmed pulmonary TB 3.Normal baseline liver function test. 4.Willing to provide informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Pre-existing liver disease or chronic liver disease. 2. Pregnant or lactating women 3. Known allergy or contraindication to NAC(hypersensitivity,bronchospasm,anaphylactoid reactions,pregnancy,peptic ulcer disease,vomiting)
