Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.This study targets menopausal women over the age of 45 who have experienced a natural cessation of menstruation for at least 12 months. 2.Participants who are willing to participate. 3. Participants who are able to understand either English or Tamil in order to ensure accurate data collection and effective implementation of nutrition education.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Women with pathological conditions such as end-stage liver disease, nephrotic syndrome, hypothyroidism, or those taking medications such as steroids and antidepressants are excluded, as these factors can independently impact anemia or obesity outcomes. Additionally, women who have undergone hysterectomy or oophorectomy, women with amenorrhea and those on hormone replacement therapy are excluded due to altered hormonal profiles, which may interfere with the natural effects of menopause.Women who did not sign the informed consent.
