Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes mellitus Scheduled for elective surgery under general anaesthesia with endotracheal intubation ASA physical status I III

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of facial/airway trauma or surgery 2.Patients with known head and neck malignancy 3.Pregnant women 4.Emergency surgeries 5.Refusal to participate

To compare the efficacy of ultrasonographic and conventional airway assessment methods in predicting difficult intubation in adult diabetic surgical patients under anaesthesia.Timepoint: Baseline preoperative airway assessment is performed prior to induction of anaesthesia, and the primary outcome of difficult intubation is assessed during laryngoscopy and endotracheal intubation in the intraoperative period.
