Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with hip arthritis . 2. Patients with u/l hip Osteonecrosis or b/l hip AVN ( with one hip being grade 1/2 AVN with preserved abductors and offset) 3. Patients willing to give consent for the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with Congenital hip dysplasia/ adult hip dysplasia 2. Patients with neuromuscular disorders, Dementia 3. Patients not willing to give consent for the study 4. Patients with b/l hip AVN Grade 4 with b/l changed offset 5. H/O hip dislocation 6. Patients who have undergone prior hip surgery 7. Patients with lumbar canal stenosis, severe unaddressed spine pathologies which could alter the effectiveness of total hip replacement
