Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Runners aged between 18 to 45 years with posterior tibialis tendon dysfunction 2 Gender includes both male and female 3 Participants must be recreational runners that is running at least 3 times per week 4 Presence of medial longitudinal arch collapse or signs of adult acquired flatfoot deformity 5 Medial foot and ankle pain 6 Positive single leg heel rise test indicating posterior tibial tendon weakness 7 No prior surgical intervention for PTTD 8 Willingness to participate and provide informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Severe or rigid foot deformities of Stage 3 or 4 PTTD as per Johnson and Strom 2 Complete rupture of the posterior tibial tendon requiring surgical intervention 3 Presence of systemic conditions affecting musculoskeletal function example rheumatoid arthritis or diabetes or metabolic disorders 4 Neuromuscular disorders affecting gait and foot function 5 History of lower limb fractures or surgeries in the past 6 months 6 Acute ankle sprain or other foot injuries interfering with testing and exercises 7 Use of foot orthoses or assistive devices that could alter foot biomechanics 8 Pregnant individuals due to potential balance and musculoskeletal changes
