Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Patients of age between 25 and 55 years 2)Patients with stage II Periodontitis with probing pockets depth of more than or equal to 5 mm in at least 3 quadrants. 3)Patients with no history of periodontal therapy in the past six months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Current smokers and alcoholics. 2)History of antimicrobial therapy in the past 6 months 3)Patients with any other systemic diseases. 4)Pregnant or lactating females.
