Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients aged between 18 and 65 years, belonging to American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I or II, and undergoing elective lumbar spine surgery
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: patient refusal, known allergy to local anesthetics, bleeding disorders, ASA grade III and above, and any existing neurological deficits.
