Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All patients of unilateral hydronephrosis below 14 years of age
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Children with solitary functioning kidney 2. Patients with a renal calculus 3. Patients who have previously undergone surgery for PUJO 4. Patients with coexisting urological diseases like VUR, VUJO, Neurogenic bladder, Duplex system, etc. 5. Patients with associated comorbid conditions like Epilepsy, Asthma, Glomerulonephritis syndromes, autoimmune diseases, etc

| To identify any difference in the levels of urinary NGAL and KIM-1 in urine samples of patients with unilateral PUJO classified into non-obstructive HDN, partial PUJO, and definite PUJO based on preset criteria. To ascertain the presence of and quantify NGAL and KIM-1 in urine samples of unilateral hydronephrosis. To identify any correlation between the levels of urinary NGAL and KIM-1 and cortical transit time, differential renal function, and antero-posterior diameter of the pelvis. Timepoint: 2 years | — |
