Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnosed case (new and old) of Type 2 Diabetes mellitus with or without associated co-morbidities. Diabetic patients with atleast one measurement of blood sugar level within last six months Patient aged 18 years or older Patient receiving either Oral antiglycaemic agent or insulin or both Patients willing to give informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus. Complicated Type 2 Diabetes mellitus cases requiring admission. Pregnant or lactating women

1.Medication adherence status It will be measured based on MGL scale10. This variable will reflect how well the patients follow their prescribed antidiabetic medication regime. MGL (Morisky Green Levine) scale will be used in this study to assess the medication adherence.(Annexure 4). Timepoint: 6 months—
