Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Age 19 TO 70 years - Patients of ASA 1and 2 - Elective surgeries under Regional anesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with the following conditions will be excluded - - cardiac diseases : IHD, CAD - respiratory diseases : COPD, ILD, Asthma - neuropsychiatric disorders - Obese patients , Obstructive sleep apnea - Difficult airway and intubation

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To compare the absence / presence of shivering and the grade. To compare the intra and post operative Pain scores using NRS and Ramsay sedation scoresTimepoint: At baseline, every 30 minutes after spinal anesthesia till 3 hours

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To determine the duration of analgesia and the time for first rescue analgesics. To assess any side effects like episodes of nausea, vomiting, pruritus, hypotension and bradycardia.Timepoint: every 1 hour post op for 3 hours
