Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Age between 45-55 yrs. 2)Permanent cessation of menses for consecutive 6-12 months. 3)Patients fulfilling the classical sign and Symptoms of Rajonivritti which was explained in disease review. Patient was included irrespective of religion, marital status etc.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Patient with Genital malignancy. 2) Patient on Corticosteroid therapy. 3) Patients suffering from any major illness like thyroid disorders,TB,HTN, DM and AIDS. 4)All Female patients group below 45 yrs. and above 55 yrs. of age

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the change in severity of menopausal symptoms (Rajonivrittikalaja Lakshanas) using a composite symptom scoring scale from baseline to the end of 3 months of intervention. The assessment will be carried out at: Baseline (Day 0) 1st month 2nd month 3rd month The composite score will include the following parameters: Ushnaanubhuti and Swedadhikyata (hot flushes and sweating) Hridayaspandana (palpitations) Santapa (irritability) Vaichitya (difficulty in concentration) Anidra/Alpanidra (sleep disturbances) Hastapadasupti (numbness in extremities) Bhrama (dizziness) Yonishushkata (vaginal dryness) Balakshaya (fatigue) Kati Vedana (joint and muscular pain)Timepoint: 3 months
