Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients admitted in the MAIN ICU of JNMC who required invasive mechanical ventilation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who are going with tracheostomy before any extubation attempts. Who died before extubation. Who are reintubated electively (e.g., for procedures or surgery) within the 72 h period following extubation.
