Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients between the age of 12 to 60 years of age reporting with dysphonia diagnosed with benign laryngeal lesions on flexible or 70 degree telescopy. 2.Patients having benign laryngeal lesions who are not improving with 6 to 12 weeks of speech therapy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Acute inflamatory laryngeal pathology. 2.Prior vocal cord surgery or radiotherapy. 3.Neurological disorders affecting voice. 4.Pregnant women

MeasureTime frame
individual changes in pitch, jitter,shimmer, noise to harmonic ratio, fundamental frequency number of voice breaks are measured and compared in both groups of cold steel and microdebrier surgery and its evaluation and its comparison pre and post operatively after 6 weeks mean change in the video stroboscopy measured and compared in both the groupsTimepoint: 6-12 weeks
