Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Healthy children in age group of 8-13 years with no systemic illness. 2.Bilateral class 1 carious lesions (ICDAS 3-5) on permanent mandibular 1st molars 3.Frankl s behavior rating scale 3 or 4 4.1st permanent molars with fully visible occlusal surface with no operculum covering occlusal surface and gingival tissue below the distal marginal ridge

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Deep caries with pulpal exposure. 2.History of spontaneous pain or swelling. 3.Molars with developmental defects 4.Children with known allergy to material used in study 5.Children with systemic disease or mental disabilities
