Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients requiring a single implant-supported prosthesis (single-tooth or single-unit crown/abutment) in the maxilla or mandible. Implant in situ with healed osseointegration for at least 3 months prior to prosthetic stage. Implant system with internal hex (or the implant interface compatible with the study scan-body type) and standardized platform size. Adequate bone volume and soft tissue health at implant site allowing prosthetic rehabilitation without need for additional surgical procedures. Willingness and ability to provide written informed consent and to comply with study procedures and follow-up visits.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Implant angulation or malposition that prevents passive, manufacturer-recommended seating of the scan body. Damaged, worn, or previously modified implant platform or internal connection. Presence of soft tissue hypertrophy, inflammation, or inadequate peri-implant soft-tissue clearance that obstructs complete scan-body seating. Patients requiring multi-unit prostheses, splinted restorations, or angled abutments. History of previous scan-body use or placement attempts on the same implant prior to enrollment.
