Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Adults aged 18 years and above undergoing oro or nasotracheal intubation in the emergency departement in whom post intubation chest X-ray is feasible and written informed consent is obtained from the patient or legally authorised representative.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients below 18 years. Patient with pre-existing tracheostomy. Patients with distorted airway anatomy or neck trauma precluding ultasound assessment. Patients in whom consent can not be obtained.
