Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients between 18 60 years of age with moderate to deep class II carious lesions in vital molars with clinical diagnosis of reversible pulpitis will be included in the study. 2.Patient with Good oral hygiene & healthy periodontal status will be included in the study. 3.Patients who will be ready to sign the inform consent form included in the study. 4.Class II carious Teeth with radiographic findings(RVG & Bitewing Radiograph) revealing radiolucency enamel dentin with presence of hard dentin between base of the caries and pulp horn on RVG will be considered for the study. 5.The teeth present in occlusion and contact with adjacent teeth will be included in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with poor oral hygiene, severe periodontal disease, mal-aligned and heavy bruxism resulting in lost physiologic contour will be excluded. 2.Tooth indicated as an abutment for fixed partial denture and metallic restoration and tooth having more than grade I mobility will be excluded. 3.Teeth with developmental anomaly or pathology or congenital defects will be excluded. 4.Teeth with indicated for onlay or overlay will be excluded 5.Pregnant and lactating mothers will be excluded.
