Intervention1: Timolol maleate: 1 drop of 0.5% Timolol maleate will be instilled every 2cm square of wound area, repeated every alternate day for totally 8 weeks.
Control Intervention1: Normal Saline:

Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Known case of type 2 diabetes mellitus with diabetic foot ulcer- Grade 1 and 2 according to Wagner classification for more than 2 weeks.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with history of coronary artery disease, cerebrovascular accident, peripheral arterial disease, COPD, venous obstruction, osteomyelitis and skin malignancies will be excluded from the study.
