Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosis based on the Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease criteria post bronchodilator forced expiratory volume in one second/forced vital capacity ratio less than seventy percent 2. Thirty percent less than equal to forced expiratory volume in one second less than eighty percent predicted 3. Modified Medical Research Council Dyspnea Scale less than equal to three 4. No participation in PR within six months of start of intervention 5. Participants will be screened using the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire plus

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Presence of any clinical condition that does not allow the participation to Centre based or a home based PR program such as Significant cardiovascular Neurological Presence of musculoskeletal disease Signs of cognitive impairment An acute exacerbation episode of COPD in the previous four weeks
