Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Nearly bilateral symmetrical sites Defect with one tooth gap Patient with minimum of 20 permanent teeth with moderate to severe periodontitis Probing pocket depth more than or equal to 5mm with infrabony defect Systemically healthy patient

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Medically compromised patients. Pregnant or lactating women. Smokers and tobacco users. Patient who had undergone surgical periodontal therapy at that site within 6 months. Patient on medication that affect bone healing
