Inclusion criteria: Age range of 4- 6 years Healthy children with no systemic illness First dental visit Children requiring LA Administration for treatment
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Children with special health care needs Children who have had previous dental treatment

| The primary outcome of the study is to assess dental anxiety in children using a novel artificial intelligence based digital dental anxiety scale and to evaluate its validity and reliability by comparison with established scales such as Venham Picture Test and Facial Image Scale using test retest and inter-rater reliability methodsTimepoint: Dental anxiety will be assessed at baseline during the dental visit using 3 scales. Inter-rater reliability will be assessed by two independent investigators during the same visit and test-retest reliability will be assessed at a recall visit after one week. All scores will be recorded and subjected to statistical analysis. | — |
