Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.NHS3 scale greater than 5 and less than 20 score. 2.Symptoms of at least two unprovoked seizures occurring at least 24 hours apart. 3.Known cases of epilepsy who are already on treatment.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.K/C/O Epileptic syndromes,status epilepticus 2.K/C/O Psychogenic non-epileptic seizures, Psychatric illness causing seizures 3.K/C/O Progressive neurological disease 4.K/C/O SOL, Meningitis ,encephalitis,Metabolic disturbance 5.K/C/O Hypersensitivity or known allergy. 6.K/C/O Severe hepatic impairment. 7.Pregnant and lactating women 8.K/H/O coronary heart diseases and other cardiac ailments. 9.K/H/O AIDS, Syphilis. 10.Active substance abuse/alcohol dependence in past 6 months.

| 1.The quality of life of the patients receiving siddha anti-epileptic treatment (korocanai Mathirai with Anda Thailam) will be assessed using QOLIE-31 scale. 2.The remission duration and relapse of symptoms for the patient will be monitored. 3.Safety of the trial medicines through clinical assessment and laboratory investigations (LFT, RFT, CBC) will be monitored.
