Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Patient representing with classical features of Asthikshaya 2 Patient of both sexes are taken 3 Patient of osteoporosis diagnosed by biomarker CTX-I (C-terminal cross linked telopeptide) 4 Willingness to provide written informed consent and comply with study protocol 5 Patients fit for Basti

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Patient below the age of 30 and above 60 years 2 Patient suffering from any systemic disorder like DM, HTN, Endocrinal disorders, Paget s disease, Cushing syndrome etc 3 Patient suffering from pathological osteoporosis or any neoplasm or osteoporosis related to systemic disorders 4 Osteoporosis associated with fracture 5 Patients who were unfit for Basti karma

Reduction in the values of CTX-I (C Terminal Cross Linked Telopeptides) Timepoint: 90 days

Improvement in parameters 1. Lakshanas of Asthi Kshaya 2. Lakshanas of Vatavriddhi 3. BMI Timepoint: 90 days;BMI Waist, Hip, Abdomen Circumference VAS Scale KOOS (Knee Injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score (KOOS). MRI knee joint (if required) Timepoint: 90 days
