Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients diagnosed with stage-II and III and Grade-B periodontitis (as per the 2017 classification.) 2.Probing pocket depth (PPD) greater than 5 mm 3.Clinical attachment level (CAL) greater than 3 mm in at least three teeth.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with systemic diseases or conditions affecting periodontal healing (e.g., diabetes mellitus, immunocompromised states). 2.Use of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs, or corticosteroids within the previous 3 months. 3.Current smokers or tobacco users in any form. 4.Pregnant or lactating women. 5.Patients with a history of periodontal surgery at the selected site within the past 6 months
