Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients fulfilling the following conditions will be included in the study: 1.Patients having signs and symptoms of Panduroga such as Panduta, Shrama, Gatrasada, Daurbalya, Hridyaspandana and Aruchi, without any complications. 2.Patients in the age group of 18 to 70 years, irrespective of gender, religion and caste. 3.Patients having hemoglobin levels as follows: Male patients with hemoglobin between 11 to 12.9 gram per deciliter (mild anemia) and between 8 to 10.9 gram per deciliter (moderate anemia). Female patients with hemoglobin between 11 to 11.9 gram per deciliter (mild anemia) and between 8 to 10.9 gram per deciliter (moderate anemia). 4.Patients who are willing to participate in the clinical trial

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients presenting with known case of complicated Anemias such as Thalassemia, Sickle Cell Anemia, Leukemia, Aplastic Anemia, Severe Anemia and Anemia caused by bleeding piles. 2.Known cases of chronic and systemic illness. 3.Presenting with symptoms like Hematemesis, Malena, Menorrhagia, Metrorrhagia. 4.Pregnant women and lactating mothers.

1) To review the literature about Darvyadi Loha And Navayas Loha. 2) To review Pandu roga ( Iron deficiency anemia ) according to Ayurveda & modern science. 3) To evaluate the efficacy of Navayas loha in Pandu roga. ( Iron deficiency anemia ) 4) To evaluate comparative efficacy of Darvyadi Loha And Navayas Loha in Pandu roga. ( Iron deficiency anemia ) 5) To observe any adverse drug effect of Darvyadi Loha.Timepoint: Follow up on 15th, 30th, 45th day
