Health Condition 1: I10- Essential (primary) hypertension

Interventions

Intervention1: Behavioral activation therapy: behavioral activation therapy is 12 weeks intervention in which experiment group will take 12 sessions that is one session per week regarding behavior act

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 2.having hypertension regardless of disease stage and severity, including grade I to grade III hypertension. 3.are registered on NCD portal of Ayushman Arogya Kendra, Ramgarh. 4.are regularly visit Ayushman Arogya Kendra Ramgarh for follow ups.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.having severe to extremely severe depression, anxiety and stress measured by DASS 21 2.unable to participate in the intervention activities due to any severe co morbid condition. 3.unable to participate in the intervention activities due work shifts that conflict with program schedules. 4.pregnant or lactating hypertensive women.

there will be positive effect of behavioral activation therapy if mean arterial pressure will be maintained less than or equal to 90 mmHg in experiment groupTimepoint: 12 weeks
